Supplies

This is all you need:
Step One: Dye Your Letters
This is where you choose your word(s) and pick your colors! For this project I used Dockside Picnic. Here are two simple ways to dye your letters with Alcohol Ink.
Option 1: Use an Alcohol Ink Pen
These new Alcohol Ink Pens make coloring letterpress tiles a breeze! Just choose your color, fill the pen, and color in around the letter!
Option 2: Flood the Tile with Ink
Put a drop or two on the tile and use the tip to spread it around evenly.
Tip:
Use a paper towel to dab off extra ink, this keeps the colors bright and prevents them from being too dark.
Step Two: Attach Magnets
Flip your letters over and use a small amount of glue to attach one magnet to the back of each letter.
Tip:
Be careful when working with these magnets, they can snap together or damage electronic screens. While drying, place the magnets a couple of inches apart so they don't snap together and mess up your glue.Step Three: Try Other Alcohol Ink Sets
Here is a preview of what the other ink sets look like!
