Neodymium Magnet Information

Neodymium magnets are made from new material, which is over 7 times stronger than ceramic magnets.  Proper handling is to prevent personal injury and/or property damage.

-          Do not handle multiple magnets at the same time unless they are separated or stacked together.  When placing magnets together, use a spacing material between them such as a piece of plastic, wood or cardboard so that they are easier to separate.

-          Maintain a distance of at least 3 feet from other magnets or magnetic items when handling the magnets.  Pay particular attentions to any sharp objects.

-          To separate magnet(s), place on a durable non-metal surface with the magnet to be separated hanging off the edge of the table. Use one hand to firmly hold the magnet(s) on the table, especially those closest to the magnet(s) being separated.  Use the other hand to firmly hold the magnet you are separating and push down and away from the other magnet(s) until a magnetic attraction is no longer felt.

Warning:  Neodymium magnets are not toys.  Neodymium magnets are not recommended for children under 4 years or age.  If swallowed, magnets can be a choking hazard.  Neodymium magnets can easily pinch fingers.  Please keep magnets away from anyone who is wearing a pacemaker or other medical device.  It is possible for neodymium magnets to damage CRT monitors and TV’s.

Disclaimer: Please follow this guide when handling magnets.  This guide is not a guarantee of replacement for damaged magnets.  The buyer agrees that he/she is responsible for all damages and injuries caused by the magnet(s), which also includes damage to the magnet(s).  If the buyer does not agree to these terms of uses, the magnets should be returned.
